new ways to get lost sprung from the conditions that were set by the gallery space regards to architecture, light and sound. the whole space of 60m² was shaped to the contours of a public room, an office space. the interior consisted of well known elements such as partition screens and drapes, but no hints were given as to the function of the room - what could have happened or would happen there.

material: wall - to - wall carpeting, partition screens, drapes, light from dimmed - down fluorescent lights, played back sounds of ventilation cycling every 1 - 3 minutes, burn marks on the edges and corners of the carpet, low voltage incandescent bulb at the end of a long cord
